An Independent Public school since 2011, Bannister Creek Primary school has developed a reputation for excellence and high standards.
Bannister Creek’s school community is enriched with a blend of more than 40 different cultures. The learning program reflects the range of cultures, needs and abilities of our diverse group of students; catering for students with special needs, gifted and talented students, I.T. experts, future scientists, keen sports people and children who are learning English for the first time.
Their students take great pride in their school and are encouraged to show initiative and actively participate and contribute to our community. Student leadership is integral to school organisation. School spirit is high with ‘Courage, Wisdom, Happiness’ embraced in their ethos.
Partnerships between the community and school are valued and encouraged. Parents play significant roles in the school, supporting many projects and initiatives and taking on leadership roles through School Board and P&C. Strong and supportive relationships between, parents, students and staff are embedded in school practices; they know that by working together, outcomes for their students are enhanced.
