  • Indonesian football team Persebaya Football Club Under-19s played Lynwood Senior High School’s soccer specialist program team.
  • Almost one hundred spectators attended the match at Hossack Reserve, Parkwood.

Persebaya F.C. are a professional team that plays in the national league of Indonesia. Their development squad are in Perth for training, cultural exchange and friendly matches.

They will also play the Under-15 State Team and Cockburn Football Club Under-18s.

Football West are hosting the visit, which is a result of months of co-operation with the WA Government, initiated by Western Australia’s first Minister for Asian Engagement, Bill Johnston MLA.

Football West Gold Fields State Team will travel to Indonesia in 2019.
